a woman photographer, I regard it as my responsibility to represent
majority women - through my identity as a woman. If I can make contact
with even one woman through my work, I think I will have succeeded.
If I can unsettle, however slightly, the age-old set of values men
hold towards women - that will be my real achievement... |
