Job Title: Copywriter

Reports to: Managing Director/ General Manager

 

Job Description / Key Responsibility

  1. To be responsible for writing and optimizing copy for company communication including brochures, photo stories, emails, web content, micro sites, direct mail, press releases, articles, case studies, newsletters, fact sheet and corporate and marketing materials as required to promote the brand and the organizations products in a competitive marketplace.
  2. To be responsible for creating compelling, readable and clear copy with the aim of adding value to the company’s communication and brand messaging & providing copy writing support as and where necessary for the organization
  3. To be responsible for interpreting strategic briefs and delivering original thinking and campaign ideas and messages, ensuring that all copy makes a compelling argument for the product / services that it promotes.
  4. To work with internal teams to generate ideas for content strategies and development and deliver outstanding copy across the chosen media within deadlines.

Experience and Educational Requirements

  1. University graduate/BBA/MBA
  2. Significant and demonstrable experience of copywriting is mandatory
  3. Minimum 5+ years of direct response copywriting experience in any reputed organization — samples required
  4. Exceptional English language skills, including flawless spelling and grammar and the ability to adapt to audiences.
  5. Strong experience copywriting and testing for online communications – online solicitation and email experience required

Job Title: Senior officer & Secretary, Administration

Reports to: Managing Director/HR Manager

 

Job Description / Key Responsibility

  1. Management of the MD’s diary, contacts database, appointments, workflow etc.
  2. Media monitoring to provide updates to MD on topics of interest to MD/Drik.
  3. Performs general secretarial duties independently incl. agenda keeping, filing and archiving.
  4. Organize all travel related work for MD incl. air ticketing & visa.
  5. Organize visas, accommodation, hotel booking and other administrative duties as required.
  6. Draft(presentations), type and dispatch all MD’s correspondence.
  7. Liaise with relevant individuals, external organizations etc to arrange meeting, prepare agendas and keep minutes of meetings.
  8. Assist HR Manager on recruitment &job advertisements.
  9. Attendance and leave management.
  10. Handling grievances and ER programs within the organization.
  11. Drafting correspondence and other HR administrative duties as required.
  12. Perform and facilitate the overall performance management process (PMP) for associates development and organizational improvement.
  13. Support and provide input to HR Manager on developing, implementing and revising employee relations programs and policies and resolving human resource issues.

Experience, and Educational  Requirements

  1. University graduate/ MBA is preferred
  2. Minimum 2-3 yr’s experience as a personal secretary.
  3. Experience in general HR.
  4. Ability to work with highly professional management in a multicultural environment with local and expatriate employees.
  5. Excellent command in written and spoken English & Bengali.
  6. Excellent computer skills

  2.  Brand management /Customer segment  and  demand analysis
  3. Conduct customer research, competitor data and implement business development plan & changes as needed
  4. Identify customer demand in all areas and generate and  exceed sales targets
  5.  Develop and maintain  customer / accounts
  6.  Price/service negotiation
  7.  Project proposal submission
  8.  Developing marketing communication material
  9. Other necessary assignments as per requirement of  Marketing Manager
  10. Maintain productive relationships with all members of the team to achieve required customer service

 

Experience and Educational Requirements

  1. Sound knowledge of marketing activities, including; Forecasting, order capture, brand awareness, cycle planning, account management, financial reporting, sales project management
  2. University graduate/BBA/MBA
  3. Minimum 1 yr’s experience in any reputed organization in their marketing department
  4. Sound communication skills  & presentation skills– in English and Bangla, including written and spoken
  5. Good at negotiation and interpersonal skills

Job Title: Editor, Audio Visual

Reports to: Head of Audio Visual

 

Job Description / Key Responsibility

  1. Must be expert on “Final Cut Pro” & Visual Graphics. Need sound knowledge in Animation & online editing.
  2. Edit films and videotapes to insert music, dialogue, and sound effects, to arrange films into sequences, and to correct errors, using editing equipment.
  3. Select and combine the most effective shots of each scene in order to form a logical and smoothly running story.
  4. Mark frames where a particular shot or piece of sound is to begin or end.
  5. Determine the specific audio and visual effects and music necessary to complete films.
  6. Organize and string together raw footage into a continuous whole according to scripts and/or the instructions of Audio Visual Head and Director.
  7. Review assembled films or edited videotapes on screens or monitors in order to determine if corrections are necessary.
  8. Review footage sequence by sequence in order to become familiar with it before assembling it into a final product.
  9. Set up and operate computer editing systems, electronic titling systems, video switching equipment, and digital video effects units in order to produce a final product.
  10. Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in film editing, assembling, and recording activities.
  11. Trim film segments to specified lengths, and reassemble segments in sequences that present stories with maximum effect.
  12. Develop post-production models for films.

 

Experience and Educational Requirements

  1. University graduate
  2. A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant editing and/or graphics experience.
  3. Ability to manage priorities, working independently at times, and working closely within a team.
  4. Interest in learning new technologies; Experience using Final Cut Server a plus.
  5. Adjusted schedule with some weekend and evening hours to be expected.
