Suhrawardy Udyan—a historical symbol for many decades, bustling with the habitation and movement of various people surrounded by life and nature amid the forest—is the responsibility of each of us connected to it. To restore this unique ecosystem in post-uprising Bangladesh, the campaign sought to unite people and ensure it would be protected. The initiative centred around spreading awareness and ensuring the safety of everyone in the green courtyard of Suhrawardy Udyan through photography exhibitions, art camps, blanket distribution, and music and poetry sessions.
Shahidul Alam's "Crossfire" exhibition, Parvez Ahmed Roni's "Border That Bleeds" exhibition, and visual narratives of the 2024 uprising were part of the “সোহরাওয়ার্দী উদ্যান যত্নের ডাক” or 'Call for Care' campaign from 12 to 14 January 2025 organised by Oxygen and supported by Drik.
Drik and popular artists and groups such as Somogeet, Tuhin Kanti Das, Farah Deeba, Muiz Mahfuz, Blindspot, Ong Ong, and others participated in the event to promote environmental rights and awareness among the visitors.
