Reuben Moscovitz (1935-2017), Holocaust survivor (Romania).
Reuben Moscovitz (also spelt, Reuven Moskowitz) worked as worked as an excavator operator and in road construction, teacher, and tour guide. He was among eight Jewish activists who boarded the ship Irene that tried to deliver humanitarian aid and children's toys to Gaza in 2010. He was buried in Wāħat as-Salām (Hebrew: Neve Shalom, “Oasis of Peace”)), a village he co-founded in 1972 where Israeli Jews and Palestinians live side-by-side in peace. He was buried there.
