Finklestein is an American political scientist, historian, writer, university teacher, and human rights activist. He has been referred to as the world’s leading authority on Gaza, and the politics of the Holocaust. In response to Israel’s propagandists who demonise Palestinian people and Palestinian freedom fighters as “violent” and “terrorists,” Professor Finklestein responds, “Don't Lecture the People of Gaza!
