
Job description for Project Coordinator
The project coordinator will support General Manager and Deputy General Manager at Drik by managing administrative tasks, coordinating activities, tracking progress, and ensuring smooth project execution, while also facilitating communication and building relationships with the larger community that Drik works with.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Planning & Management:
o Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
o Coordinate project activities, resources, and information.
o Track project progress and identify potential issues or risks.
o Maintain project documentation and reports.
o Manage project schedules and ensure adherence to deadlines.
· Project Community Management:
o Facilitate communication between project teams and project participants and related community.
o Prepare and distribute project updates, reports, and meeting minutes.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with project community.
o Liaise with relevant environment, gender, and safeguarding specialists.
· Administrative Support:
o Organize and manage project logistics, including meetings and events.
o Handle administrative tasks, such as preparing contracts and invoices.
o Manage project budgets and track expenses.
o Ensure adherence to project quality standards and compliance requirements.
· Problem Solving:
o Identify and escalate project issues to the Deputy General Manager.
o Assist in developing and implementing solutions to project challenges.
o Contribute to the overall success of the project by ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and principles.
- Understanding the creative and media industry and its challenges in Bangladesh.
- Ability to work with diverse communities of different gender, class, religion or ethnic background.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Minimum five years related work experience.
- Master’s degree social science or arts
